about

1991, found on an old tape of me. No microphone at the time so I "sang" into cheap earbuds.

lyrics

I think I don't like the Green Anymore
Thinking is good by the night
This small surface of color
Is eating my heart

A bark of a dog afraid her
And she don't look at this
A terror of prejudice
Doesn't change the complete comprehension (understanding)

"If", say only this word
"If", for my benefice
Don't throw away an "if"
Don't throw it away

Ink on the paper
Is making a sort of vibration
Ideas are shocking themselves
Into confrontation

I follow orders Miss
I follow orders now, Miss!

I think I don't like the Green anymore

(written February 24th 1986)
The "I follow order" bit is not in the song but helped me remember the mindset I was writing the song at 18.
